One of Joe's Club clients needed her prescription refilled. Joe's Club Transportation helped her to and from the local pharmacy. When she got home, she realized that she was overcharged for the medication. Her pharmacy said her insurance was expired and the "computer" said she HAD to pay the full amount of $162.

Our client called Joe's Club. One of our elder advocates called the pharmacy and insisted the pharmacy straighten out the computer glitch with the insurance company. It turned out to be the insurance company's mistake.

We dispatched a driver and our client received her refund the same day.

Thanks to Joe's Club, this client's prescription cost $32 (as it should) instead of the $162 that she was originally charged.
